A quality and profit oriented Project Manager with 12 years experience in General Contracting, Design/Build and Construction Management services and 12 years in the building automation systems industry. Responsibilities include total Project Management, i.e., preconstruction services, owner/architect/subcontractor relations, planning & scheduling, procurement, costs, subcontracting, and quality control.

Orlando Events Center Parking Garage – Orlando, FL - Project Engineer
Mr. Meyers is currently leading the project engineering effort on the Events Center Parking Garage. His responsibilities include shop drawing and submittal document review, RFI review and distribution, change order pricing, trade coordination, implementation of QA/QC program, development and tracking of progress schedules, track and maintain procurement of materials, procurement of closeout documentation, warranties and owner training, assistance with monthly progress billings and associated Chapter 57, City Blueprint, Davis Bacon, Living Wage and Apprenticeship documentation.

St. Mary’s Academy of the Holy Family – New Orleans, LA - Senior Project Manager
Guy Meyers led the PSA team for the development of detailed Cost Estimating scope for the project using the CSI format. He is playing active role in the development of master project schedule involving all activities to be used to as a guide for reviewing the general contractor’s schedule including weekly progress schedule. The overall scope includes Program/Project Management Services on both Temporary Facility and Permanent Campus:

Temporary Facility: scope of work consist of metal buildings for class rooms, Cafeteria, multi-purpose building, Library, 12 Toilets buildings, music building, and 44,000 SQ. FT. wood deck platform with  cover canopy and Administration Buildings. Project Cost $13 million, and

Permanent Campus: scope consists of two storey structures total of 91,000 square feet high school for 750 students. Total of Seven building structures with designated parking lots for both staff, students, and visitors, bus drop off area, and circular parents pick-up area. Cover walkways that connect all buildings, base ball and soccer fields, and court yard. Buildings include: Administration Building (one level),  Library and Faculty House Wing (two levels), Classrooms Wings #1, #2, and Art & Science Wing (two levels), Kitchen & Dinning Area, & Gymnasium (one level). Mr. Meyers is our Senior Project Manager with responsibilities for the overall program management of the construction of a new high school campus. Point of contact between the Owner/Architect/FEMA. Supervise internal staff to insure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Oviedo High School Renovation, Oviedo, Florida - $59M GMP Construction Manager for Seminole County Public Schools.

Guy Meyers served as Project Manager, and was responsible for the overall coordination and financial management of the phased renovation of the occupied campus. Mr. Meyers was point of contact between the Owner/Architect/Engineer team and subcontractors to ensure that the project was delivered on time and within budget.  He also developed the majority of the scopes of work for contracts for the entire project subcontractors. And he supervised the project schedule development and the logistics of critical material requisitions.
     
             
 

 
Hilton Ruby Lake Resort Orlando, Florida - $160M Cost Plus Construction Manager for the Hilton Corporation.

Mr. Meyers served as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Manager, and was responsible for the overall coordination of the MEP systems in two fourteen story time share towers, a maintenance building and security building. He worked with the Pre-construction team and the jobsite construction team. Point of contact between the Architect/Engineer team and subcontractors to ensure that the systems as designed were coordinated and installed per the contract documents while maintaining budget.  Developed the majority of the subcontractors scopes of work for the entire project, and he supervised the project schedule development and the logistics of material shipping.
     
             
 

 
The Vue at Lake Eola, Orlando, FL - $180M CM @ Risk construction of a high rise condominium.
Served as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) Manager, and was responsible for the overall coordination of the MEP systems in a thirty six story residential condominium project.
     
     
     
     
Deltona High School HVAC Renovation, Deltona, FL - $12M, CM @ Risk Project Manager for the renovation of an occupied high school campus.
Work included the entire replacement of the HVAC system and an upgrade of all life safety systems.  
     
             
     
OCPS Immediate Needs Program, Orlando, FL – $59M CM @ Risk
senior project manager assigned to oversee 5-9 simultaneous school renovation projects in their final phase. Acted as client liaison and manager of close out procedures on the remaining projects completed over a 3-year period. Prepared and negotiated final change orders and finalized payments for multi tiered subcontractors.
     
             
     
UIOA Jurassic Park Them Park, Universal Studios Orlando, FL - $70M, CM @ Risk, Theme Park Construction Project.
He was the lead project engineer with (4) staff members involved in the administration (engineering) of multi-million dollar theme park construction project. He personally negotiated $8+ million dollars in change orders with the owner’s representative and stayed on after construction completion to facilitate the financial closure out the project. He also maintained contact and control throughout the warranty period.
     
             
     
Lake Mary High School Renovation, Lake Mary, FL – $30M CM @ Risk
Project Manager for Auditorium addition and general campus renovation to meet current building codes. 
     
             
     
UCF Nanotechnology Lab Expansion, Orlando, FL – $2M CM @ Risk
Project Manager for the construction of four new research laboratory suites. 
     
             
     
UCF Creol Expansion Orlando, FL – $ 4M CM @ Risk
Project Manager for the construction services of a new three story optics laboratory and office space addition to an existing operational facility. 
     
             
     
McCoy Elementary Replacement School, Orlando, FL - $12M, CM @ Risk
Project Manager for the construction two story tilt wall building housing 200+ student stations and replacement of a city park land swap for new campus.

National contract with varying values for all U.S. airports, Project Manager/Superintendent for landside/airside systems preparation.
